france: anti-smoking campaign

france's association de défence contre le tabac and les droits des non-fumeurs collaborated with ad agency bddp & fils on this striking campaign. "the ads suggest that smoking is being a slave to tobacco by showing young guys and girls kneeling down in a simulated forced oral sex scenario with the cigarette assuming the role of the penis."  yeah we're not sure this sends the right message... "lost in translation?"

fall/winter 2010:  me thinks muiccia was given mad men on dvd for christmas.  tailored and perfect to the point prada served up the perfect cocktail... and the cocktail dress.  modern and chic, yet completely a praise to the past.  looks like prada will be increasing sales next quarter.

fall/winter 2010: back in black... and back in nyc... jeremy scott threw down a collection that screamed conservative, proper, elitist fashion... well conservative, proper and elitist for the freaks that is. structured, tailored, super cool prints as always (the stained glass window pane prints are to die for) and with little hints of the greats (gaultier, ysl, etc) dare i say this was his most marketable/sellable collection in quite sometime...  besides who doesn't want a leather jacket covered in jewels? we love.

fall/winter 2010: the phillip lim woman is a modern paired down 70's halston girl...  with that current cut and edge lim does so well, but the standouts we love love love, the patchwork shearling coats and accessories.  nice job phillip,  but we have one question, now what are you going to do with all that marble from the set?...  we need a new steam shower.
